April / 2021CENERO installs over 2,200 solar modules
More than 2,200 solar modules were installed on the roof of Halls 19/20 on the former AEG site in December 2020. The technical commissioning took place in April 2021. Almost 99.9% of the generated energy is consumed on the site itself. The decentralised generation not only reduces the conversion losses and the costs for power purchase, but also reduces the necessary grid expansion. CENERO Energy GmbH is the plant operator and markets the electricity generated on the site.
