When operating compressed air generation systems, there are numerous factors that lead to energy losses. Leakages are often not detected, which quickly leads to pressure loss and thus to increased power consumption. In addition, time and again the potential for substitution remains unused.

Thanks to pressure reduction and better coordination, for example, higher-level control systems can save an average of 12% of energy. Optimised internal controls achieve average savings of 15% by reducing internal control losses.

At best, the respective quality requirement of the application should be exactly fulfilled - this is the only way to achieve optimal energy and operating costs. Exceeding and falling short, on the other hand, result in higher expenses. The savings potential is considerable. Regular replacement of the filter elements within the prescribed intervals can also achieve significant savings and minimise operating costs.
